About the Amort-Ellmenreich Family

 
In the heart of Merano unfolds a world where traditional hospitality and modern elegance blend in perfect harmony. The driving force behind this unique ensemble - consisting of the Hotel Adria, Residence Desiree, and Hotel Mignon - is the Amort-Ellmenreich family.
 
For generations, we have cultivated the art of hospitality to impart to every visitor a sense of home away from home. Our aim is not just to provide you with a stay, but to offer you a genuine experience that leaves you with fond memories of Merano.

Since its founding in 1967 by the passionate vision of our ancestors, the Mignon Merano Park & Spa has become a place where guests are not only welcome, but are part of the family.

Mrs. Irmgard Amort, the Grande Dame of our family, laid the foundation for our tradition of hospitality. Sissi Amort-Ellmenreich, daughter of Mrs. Amort and raised in the rooms of this house, learned the art of hosting from a young age and continues this tradition with dedication in the third generation.

 

Florian Ellmenreich, a newcomer to the world of hospitality, brings fresh energy and new perspectives to our family business. Son Philipp, the youngest member, after his studies in hotel management and several internships in Spain, Italy, and Switzerland, has found his way back to his homeland. With him, the fourth generation continues to uphold the values and passion for hospitality that form the heart of our establishment.

Nephew Lorenz enriches the team with fresh ideas in a valuable assistant role, having successfully completed his Bachelor's degree in Law & Economics.
